ABSTRACT

Autonomy is vital for smart self-starters and young companies often get this right; but scaling makes it's easy to revert to traditional management styles that takes away this freedom. Key to our success, Guerrilla Teamwork lets us capitalize on our growing talent pool while keeping our autonomy. In this talk, I'll share how GitHub manages to stay productive and organized without managers or a rigid hierarchy, from the perspective of the individual.
